I am not sure that HBO is making the right move here with ordering a Brooklyn Bar to stop  showing ‘Game of Thrones’

 HBO wants more and more people hooked on the show so they can continue to drive up demand for on demand viewing and more subscriptions.  I know that the bra shouldn’t be charging people to watch a show – that would be wrong.  But if the bar has a legal subscription to HBO and is broadcasting it live how it this any different than a sports bar showing a bowl game or the NCAA tournament.  I really really don’t get it.

HBO should have done something different.

Like send a cast member to the bar and make it a viral PR stunt.

Or Sell them a ‘public display’ subscription.

Anything other than send a cease and desist – just makes them no different than the cable companies.  IMHO

It should come to no surprise that SaaS Valuations are all about the Growth.  How fast are you growing the top line revenue is all that matters.  

SaaS valuations have been very healthy and the trend looks to stay the same.  The only two metrics that matter to the financiers seem to be Forward Revenue and Trailing Revenue.   If you are bold and your trailing revenue supports a predictable high revenue growth, you can secure a huge multiple on your forward plans.  Something between 12-20X.  If not, you will have to settle for a 5X on forward revenue.  And you can easily see in this chart.

 Wait, so if you are a low growth SaaS company, you can still land a 5X valuation on forward revenue.  I think that rocks. 

The question the entrepreneur needs to ask is what kind of company are they and what do they want to be.  But it is pretty clear to me that most entrepreneurs and financiers want to be in SaaS companies because of charts like this.

Create WordPress content with Rallyverse

In the Rallyverse editor, you should now see fourth publishing destination which, when clicked, opens up an html editor where you can build your WordPress post.

You get everything you’d expect from a blog editor: a WYSIWYG editor that lets you apply styles and add images to your post, the ability to select categories, tags and authors, and all the scheduling tools that power all your other social accounts.
